My Summer Holiday – Part 1 (How to see NZ in one day...)

Some say you can literally see all of New Zealand in just one day. I can now confirm that this is true and I saw almost half of New Zealand in 2 hours. It is easy feat, just book yourself an air ticket and you can see everything from 37,000 ft above sea level.

I was flying from Auckland to Queenstown for my summer holiday and I was thrilled to have 3 seats on my own. The flight itself is the highlight of the trip (if weather permitted) because you get to see the beautiful coastline and landscape on the ground. However, when the plane flew pass South Island, the stunning sceneries were marred by the smoke and haze that floated all the way across the ditch courtesy of Australia (Spank you very much! The Aussie government who thinks they can send troops to stabilize other people’s country cannot even control the bushfires in their own backyard. :-p)

Nevertheless, I managed to capture some random shots from my seat. So here it is…
