My first night of quietness...

It is funny how the chain of events unfold itself. Sometimes things just happened so unexpectedly that left me scratching my head in bewilderment.

A few days back I rambled in my post that I got so sick with the tenant next unit and wanted to move out. However they upstaged me and moved out today! If you ask me whether I miss them, I can give you a resounding NO. They have never been friendly, never make eye contact and very selfish too. So I am very pleased that they finally get lost for good. Yes!!! I am very happy!

When I came back last night, I discovered the unit is pitch dark and quiet (Which is highly unsual because they will either bitch and bicker or they will stomp around the house like 800 pound gorillas). But I didn't take much notice and I don't give a damn what happened to them. This morning when I passed the balcony, I noticed apart from the rubbish littered all over the living room, all the furnitures were gone.

I thought that's the end of it but they came back during noon time to pick up the rest of the stuffs. All afternoon, I could hear them engaged in arguments while cleaning. Luckily I only endured a couple of hours and they were gone forever.

For the past 8 months, I have been enduring all noises ranging from crying babies, foot stomping, door slamming, loud TV, furniture shifting to verbal abuses and fighting and I really had enough. So tonight is my first night where I can relax my hearing sensory and let my ears rest in peace. I just hope that this will last as long as it gets. Time to open the champagne, I could have dance all night to celebrate this occasion...

OMG been done there, had to experience that! Went through a succession of noizy neighbors with no common sense.

One of them had the friggin nerve to start pounding with a friggin hammer at 2 in the friggin morning!

Hope the peace and quiet last a long time.

It's a pity I do not have balloons, party hats and confettis ready in hand. Otherwise I will fly the balloons and throw confettis in front of their faces when they leave the place... :p

NK, At last the rest and quiet you hoped for, and for the time being no new neighbors.

Yesh! Let's hope that there will be no more new neighbors. I had had enough of them. :)
