After 2 weeks of gloom and doom, we finally had the chance to bask ourselves under the glorious sunshine. I was a bit worried how to sort out my damp laundry over the last few days because I literally ran out of space to hang them inside the flat.
I had already hung all my clothes on the curtain railings, the doors, the makeshift racks and chairs. As a result my flat looked as if a department store having a annual wardrobe sale for men. Apart from that, the flat filled with musty stench so much so I had to turn on the dehumidifier for the whole day to suck out all the damp. Still it doesn't get rid of the stank, so my last resort was to spray tons and tons of air refresher to neutralise the smell even if this means that the ozone layer will get bigger as a result but I don't care.
Hence the big sunshine proved to be a big relieve for me. Since my flat is facing the sunny side all day, it trapped the heat and turned into a big natural dryer for my clothings. By the time I got home, all my clothes were dry and fluffy. Once again, Mother Nature saves my day! Hooray.
