Dear Wild Wild Web, I have confessions to make...

Yeah right. It's a wild wild web out there, who knows what kind of lunatics are lurking around the cyberspace? Even if I have a confessions to make I would not do it online because I no longer trust the internet.

I just stumble 3 websites that allow people to post their confessions anonymously. Surprisingly quite a lot of people do that and I wondered why. Didn't they know that what was meant to be secrets are not secrets anymore because those messages are read by millions of people right now (I'm one of them).

The 1st is Harlequin Romance Report created by Harlequin Enterprises. I suppose the romance publisher is running out of ideas in romance novels and having a serious case of writers block, otherwise they won't stoop so low by inventing a website to solicit free ideas for their novel plots. Sheesh!

The 2nd one is My Secret created by Life Church. This website contains serious overtones and suited for more matured readers only. This is much better because it allows people to send words of encouragement related to the posts. But I hate the web design because it gave a painful and depressed feeling.

The 3rd is PostSecret. This one tauted itself as a community project where people write their secrets anonymously on homemade postcards and mail to the blog owners. Actually it is quite creative and briliant idea. However, other than having fun reading some of the messages, I do not see any significance nor benefit out of this website.

So if you have confessions to make, please visit these websites and confess to your hearts content.
