Featured Site: Expat Exposed - NZ: Forewarned is forearmed

For those who followed my blog long enough, you might notice I have been posting some post that is critical about the life in NZ. Time and time again, I dropped hints (If you care enough to read the fine print) to warn visitors that all those beautiful facts from job expos, glossy magazines and immigration brochures are nothing but just a big fat lie.

After posting those negative posts for a while, I began to feel like a little whiner and I began to wonder whether I am the only disgruntled migrant in NZ. It wasn't until I found this delightful little website called Expat Exposed that I realised I am not alone.

The moderators called their website "a one-stop resource for all prospective migrants to NZ who want to know the downsides of life in this country, and helps potential and current expats help themselves through networking and emotional support."

Some of the information are quite informative while some are just purely entertainment. Some of the postings made by the members are funny if not humorous. I highly recommend this website to those who are itching to make a move to NZ. As the saying goes, it is always better to look before you leap because that will save you a lot of hair tearing moments and heartaches. Coming to NZ for holidays is a good thing but living a life here is a totally another story so considered yourselves warned. I am not going to reveal much so I suggest you go to the website and read through the posts... :p

As for myself, I suppose I found the website a little too late now. If only these kind of useful information were readily available 3 years back, then I would not find myself stuck in this hole now...
