Rude kids...

A bunch of unkempt looking kids were loitering in front of the side walk outside my flat this morning. They looked no older than 7 years old and they were chattering noisily along the way. One of them kept muttering the words "Fuck you..." and other expletives rather loudly.

For a small child to spit such outrageous words, I must say his parents had failed miserably when it comes to raising their offspring.

Forget about those political correctness crap, I think some kids deserved to be spanked and some parents deserved to be penalised. If I am his parent, I will give this bloody kid a big tight slap in the face... X(

No you wouldn't. If you were his parent he wouldn't have done that in the first place as you'd have brought him up properly! :)

Tom has a point. But then again, the only reason he learns those words is probably because his parents are using them themselves. I know my youngest brother (5 this year) copies whatever we say a lot, so we always take care not to even say stupid, or idiot - he'll start repeating it a lot.

Of course, he gets smacked if he uses it, even after he's been warned not to say it. :P

Sigh, when I saw the sorry state of those kids I just couldn't help but fuming mad. Why would some people want to have kids in the first place when they do not bother to raise them properly? It just creating an endless chain of misery for the future generation.

BTW, parenting is a tough business and I have seen how my friends struggle bringing up their kids. Moreover, kids nowadays are way smarter and they absorbed anything good or bad like sponge to water and can easily outwit their parents. Those little brats can literally drive adults up to the wall sometimes. For those parents who work tirelessly to raise their children, I salute them. :)

Come to think of it, I am grateful that I am gay and single. :D
