In the wake of the 2 deadly shooting incidents in Alabama and Germany, we had a gunman wielding a pistol and wandered around in the neighbourhood where I worked yesterday afternoon. So much so that the police had to be called in to seal off the main road near my work place. At one point no cars are allowed to get in or out of the place.
Notices were spread around the network to warn all "lunatic inmates" a.k.a staff stay put within their own quarters. The whole incident lasted more than an hour before it was contained. Whether the police caught the scum in the end, we were not informed about it. But the last I heard, the police could not find him.
If the scum was caught, I would really like to give him a good beating with my umbrella if given the chance. Such low life is a waste of space and deserved to be punished, some of you might accuse me for being cruel or inhumane and I couldn't care less. And neither do I care about political correctness because I have zero tolerance to crime. To think that I have to pay tax to support such low life who do not contribute anything constructive to the society other than creating violence and social problems makes me sick. X(
Despite so many repeated incidents where some crazed demented scum carrying guns, threatening and in some cases even killing innocent people, I wonder why the governments would just sit there and do nothing??? How come people can obtain dangerous weapons so easily??? Where is the gun control??? When tragedies happened, those overzealous self righteous human rights activists and leftist social engineering bureaucrats would be keeping mum on the issue. Why wouldn't you all stand up and denounced such despicable crimes??? Is that what you call freedom and human rights??? Freedom my ass!!! Human rights my ass!!! To me, those human rights activists and leftist social engineering bureaucrats are just a bunch of yapping hypocrites who barked at the wrong trees.
I still believe that some degree of control and boundaries must be imposed to the people. Yes, freedom is a right but it also involves responsibility and therefore must be earned. Freedom does not mean one can carry a gun and go threaten or kill other people when one can't deal with his/her own problems. For those who do not cherish their own life as well as others, fuck off.

A gunman running around the place casually? OMG, I can't imagine being in a position of having to deal with a gunman - wouldn't even dare try to give him a beating with an umbrella. :3
It seems so normal on your side of the world, where people can just seemingly carry guns as if nothing matters. >.< Scary.
I wouldn't deal with the gunman face to face. He got the gun remember? But it would be so tempting to give such low life a severe beating if there is a good chance to do so.
To me, the incident is one of those cases where freedom and human rights gone wrong. The justice systems in western countries are woefully weak when it comes to dealing with criminals and this is all in the name of political correctness and human rights. Sad.
